Quilimbo is a holsteiner stallion by Quidam de Revel/Limbus/Constant  from stamm 275.
He was developed by British rider Stacy Babes before making his way to Dayro Arroyave. This combination had great success up to the 1,50m with top ten placings and several wins along the way. Including winning the CSI3* 1,45m in Moorsele , and 6th in the Sire 1,40m class  in Lanaken in 2018.
Quilimbo then made his way to USA Team rider, Schuyler Riley. Together they reached the top sport with several top ten placings in the 1,40-1,60m divisions. In 2021 this sportive stallion and Schuyler won the CSI5* 1,40m at WEF.
Quidam de Revel, was a superior jumping athlete who competed in the Barcelona Olympics winning a team bronze and finishing fourth individually with French rider, Herve Godignon. The pair won several Grand Prix and competed on a slew of Nations Cup squads. Quidam de Revel was ranked #1 for two years in a row in the World Breeding rankings for jumper stallions. He his sire to over 189 approved sons including Quite Easy, Quite Capitol, VDL Groep Verdi and Nabab de Reve. His offspring continue to compete at the top of the sport to this day.
Limbus is an attractive and particularly noble Landgraf I son. Also on the dam’s side influenced by the TB sires Rantzau and Marlon and due to the great amount of TB blood elements, he is an interesting option to achieve refi nement. He stood at the well-known Pageroe stallion station upon the river Schlei during his fi rst covering season. In 1995 and 1996, Limbus was stationed at Gestüt Dobel in Baden-Württemberg before returning to Holstein in 1997. Seeing that he jumped with good technique and lots of ability, he was sent to Bo Kristoffersen to be produced for show jumping. The pair not only won many young jumper classes and qualified for the Bundeschampionat at a score of 9.0, but they also succeeded in jumper classes to S level.
