After catching the horse bug at an early age, Claire grew up on a horse farm outside Raleigh, North Carolina. She grew up riding mostly hunters and then competed in the Big Equitation in her last few years as a junior before transitioning to focus on jumpers.
Over the years Claire has developed a love and appreciation for quirky horses, always taking the time to listen and figure out how to help them succeed. In recent years Claire has developed her homebred gelding from .80 up to 1.45. She truly enjoys the process of developing young horses and helping them fulfill their utmost potential.
